Ravi Teja at SIT: Refused to give samples

Actor Ravi Teja on Friday appeared before Excise Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the on going drugs racket in Hyderabad. He was grilled for nearly eight hours from 10.30 am. By end of the questioning, SIT officials asked to provide samples of blood, nails and hair but Ravi Teja has refused to give his agreement to this. Hence, SIT didn’t take the samples.

During the questioning, Ravi Teja reportedly was grilled on how he got to know Jeesan, the drug peddler but the actor is said to have told them them that he doesn’t have any acquaintance with the drug peddler. On the other hand, Jeesan during interrogation confessed to the SIT members that he provided drugs to Ravi Teja on many occasions.

But Ravi Teja reportedly told the SIT officers that he knows well about Calvin, the prime suspect in drugs racket. On Saturday, the SIT will question Ravi Teja’s long time driver Srinvasa Rao.

Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao (KCR) today reviewed the case with police officials and gave enough hints that Tollywood film celebrities will be treated as victims. Unless the evidence about drug supplying is gathered, the 12-member celebrities who received notices will be treated as victims. So, no celebrity will be arrested. This is a huge relief to Tollywood industry that is reeling with shock ever since the news about Drugs case came.
