Karnataka High Court granted regular bail to Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa Srinivas, Pavitra Gowda, and the other co-accused in the Renukaswamy murder case. This ruling comes after Darshan’s prior interim bail on medical grounds.
Police have charged Darshan and his partner, Pavitra Gowda, with involvement in the death of Renukaswamy, a Darshan fan who allegedly stalked and harassed Pavitra Gowda. The court imprisoned Darshan and Pavitra for several months, but recently granted interim bail to Darshan.
The court’s latest verdict mandated their release on bail, but the legal proceedings continue.
Darshan is a top actor in the Kannada cinema industry.
