Samantha: I was labelled as sympathy queen!

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu reflected on her approach to dealing with negativity and how she transformed into a person whom she can genuinely feel proud of.

At the Today India Conclave 2024, she disclosed that she felt compelled to divulge her health condition in order to prevent any negative impact on the films she was involved in. She desired to inform people about the reasons behind her decision not to promote her film (Yashoda) during its release.

Additionally, she mentioned that individuals used to refer to her as the sympathy queen.

“I encountered a significant amount of negativity and came across derogatory articles written about me,” she stated. All of these experiences have compelled her to transform into the individual of whom she can feel a sense of pride, and to develop the necessary maturity to effectively navigate through any challenges that may arise.

However, Samantha has not yet made any official announcements regarding her upcoming films.
