Samantha speaks about her role in Mahanati

Samantha is very enthusiastic about her upcoming films. Her next film ‘Rangasthalam’ will release on March 30th. She has six films in hand each one is different from the other.

Speaking about ‘Mahanati’, she said that she is not playing the role of Jamuna as speculated. The actress confirmed that she is not playing the role of any old actress. Samantha will be playing a different character here. She is extremely pleased that the film is shaping up well.

The actress tweeted, “And it’s a wrap on #Mahanati Wrapped up 3 films this month Been an absolute honour to be part of such history @VyjayanthiFilms @nagashwin7 Thankyou for a wonderful experience!! #MahanatiOnMay9th.”

Samantha also spoke about ‘U-Turn’, the remake of the Kannada film by the same name. It will be directed by Pawan Kumar who directed the original. Samantha says that she is ecstatic to be a part of this thriller.
