Samantha to steal the show again

Buzz on the ‘96’ remake is gaining positively in the by lanes of Tollywood. Titled ‘Jaanu’, the film starring Sharwanand and Samantha, is set for release next month. The movie’s teaser is yet to come out. However, those who have seen the final copy of the Telugu remake of Tamil hit ‘96’ say Samantha stole the show with her earnest performance.

In the original, it was Trisha who walked away with all the honors. After watching the Tamil version, Samantha even went to the extent of saying that no one can recreate the magic like Trisha did if it gets remade in any language. She said Trisha is spotless in her performance. Now, the word is that she equally matched with Trisha’s.

‘Jaanu’ is directed by C Prem Kumar and has music by Govind Vasantha.
