Samantha’s ‘revenge dress’ was never about erasing the past!

Samantha Ruth Prabhu had both a Christian and Hindu wedding when she married Naga Chaitanya in October 2017. However, the couple parted ways four years later.

Following their divorce, Samantha had her white wedding gown transformed into a striking black dress by her close friend and designer, Kresha Bajaj. The bold makeover led many to label it a “revenge dress,” speculating that the actress wanted to symbolically erase memories of her marriage.

But in a recent interview, Kresha Bajaj clarified the intention behind the transformation. She explained that the repurposing of the gown wasn’t about erasing the past. It was about reclaiming something deeply personal and giving it new meaning, she added.

Post-divorce, Naga Chaitanya has married actress Sobhita Dhulipala, while Samantha is said to be in a relationship with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru. Both have clearly moved on and are embracing new chapters in their lives.
