Almost everyoy likes the laugh riots? The makers of ‘Sarangapani Jathakam’ say that their film is one such universally likeable family entertainer with loads of comical stretches. Speaking at a promotional event, they stated that the situations and characters in the summer release make the film one of the most enjoyable ones.
Starring Priyadarshi, who recently delivered the courtroom drama Court: State Vs. A Nobody, the film is about a youngster who adheres to astrological predictions. Director Mohanakrishna Indraganti has molded a serious theme into a comedy.
Producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, incidentally, believes in astrology. “I was told that my career would turn bright after 2015. That’s what happened, thanks to my movies Gentleman, Sammohanam, Yashoda and my lead actors. Sarangapani Jathakam fulfils my long-standing desire to produce a full-fledged comedy. This film conveys an important message: while horoscopes may guide us, we must take action ourselves. I am truly proud to have made this film,” the producer said.
Indraganti’s comedies like ‘Ashta Chamma’ and ‘Ami Thumi’ were clean. “This is a clean, fun-filled comedy that people of all ages can enjoy. Parents won’t have to cover their children’s eyes or ears while watching our film. There’s not a single non-Telugu actor in our film” the director said.
“Sarangapani Jathakam” is all set to release on April 18th.
