Shruti Haasan was recently seen in Rajinikanth’s “Coolie,” playing Preethi, the daughter of Sathyaraj. Her character falls into trouble, leading to Rajinikanth stepping in with his trademark action sequences to save her.
In a recent Instagram Q&A, a fan asked Shruti whether portraying a damsel in distress in Coolie was unfair.
Responding candidly, she said the role reflected the director’s vision, not hers. “She was in distress and it’s someone else’s vision. Not about fair or unfair,” Shruti clarified.
The actress also addressed another much-discussed topic: her plastic surgery.
