Samantha Ruth Prabhu and director Nandini Reddy share a close bond, both personally and professionally. The duo earlier delivered a blockbuster with “Oh Baby” and has been looking to collaborate again. Now, their next project appears to be taking shape.
According to reports, Samantha has entrusted Nandini Reddy with “Maa Inti Bangaram,” a film the actress had announced long ago, originally planned with a debutant director.
The crime thriller, set in the 1980s, is now being rewritten and will be helmed by Nandini in her own style. Work on the script is already underway. Samantha will produce the film under her Tralala Moving Pictures banner.
In a recent interview, Samantha revealed that she intends to focus on fewer but more meaningful projects. She emphasized that health and proper rest are her current priorities. If all goes as planned, she is expected to begin work on “Maa Inti Bangaram” in late 2025.
