SIT grills Charmee, no samples taken

The Excise Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Wednesday grilled actress Charmee for about six and half hours  in connection with drugs case. She appeared before the SIT at the Excise office in Nampally at 10.30 and the questioning concluded at 5 pm.
 
Special Investigation team asked her why her name has been seen in call data of Calvin, the prime suspect in drugs racket. Reports say they showed her the history of her chat with him through WhatsApp. They reportedly gathered key information from her during the six and half hours questioning.
 
She left the Excise office smiling and waving at the media persons. But she didn’t speak to the media. The SIT told her she would be called in for further questioning if needed.
The SIT officials said she refused to provide samples of her blood, nails and hair. 
 
She was questioned by four officials, including two women officials, after the High Court on Tuesday heard Kaur’s petition and directed the SIT to include a woman officer in the interrogation team. As per the High Court directive, SIT didn’t take her blood samples when refused.
 
She was among the 12 Tollywood celebrities who got notices from the SIT.
