Sundeep Kishan rubbishes Uday Kiran biopic reports

Sundeep Kishan has finally put an end to all the speculations about the biopic of Uday Kiran. It was reported that Sundeep Kishan had decided to produce and act in Uday Kiran’s biopic.

An official statement came from Sundeep: “Numerous rumors are being heard about Uday Kiran’s biopic in the last couple of days. Here is to clarify the media & people, no one has approached us regarding this & right now we have no intention of doing biopics. Thank you – Sundeep Kishan.”

Uday Kiran shot to fame with Teja directed ‘Chitram’ in 2000. ‘Nuvve Nuvve’, ‘Sriram’, ‘Manasantha Nuvve’ and ‘Nee Sneham’ followed establishing him as a major star in Tollywood back then. However, he went into depression after several setbacks in his career and personal life. He committed suicide in 2014. A director like Teja planned to make a biopic on Uday Kiran but dropped the idea as it would be like stirring the hornet’s nest.
