Sundeep Kishan stars in “Sigma,” which marks the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, son of actor-turned-politician C. Joseph Vijay. The makers have now announced the film’s release date.
“Sigma” was initially planned for an early 2026 release before being pushed to the summer season. The team has now finalized July 31 as its theatrical release date.
Jason Sanjay has chosen to carve out his own path as a filmmaker without relying on his father Vijay’s name. The film is bankrolled by Lyca Productions. Although Jason Sanjay, his sister, and his mother are no longer living with Vijay, who is now the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, the project is expected to attract significant attention for obvious reasons.
Billed as a stylish thriller, “Sigma” features Faria Abdullah as the female lead, while Thaman is composing the music.
