Suriya announces his film with director Venky Atluri

Suriya and director Venky Atluri are teaming up. Suriya himself made the announcement about the event “Retro” held in Hyderabad on Saturday.

Suriya confirmed that his next film will be with director Venky Atluri and producer Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments. He also revealed that, despite being a Tamil film, Hyderabad will play a major role in its production. The shooting will take place shortly.

The makers have not revealed any further details, but there are speculations that Keerthy Suresh might play the main female lead. As we well know, Venky Atluri has gained a success formula by telling real incidents and fictionalizing them.

He did it for Dhanush’s “Vaathi/Sir” by telling the story about the educational system in Andhra Pradesh. He also copied the main story of the web series “Scam 1992” and turned it into a hit movie, Dulquer Salmaan’s “Lucky Baskhar.” Now, he is said to be making a film on the incidents that made Maruti Car a success.

Suriya already acted in a similar film based on an airline brand. The film was “Aakasam Nee Haddhu Raa.” He is now preparing to tell another inspirational story about an Indian business brand.
