Media reports went overdrive that Hyderabad revenue officials stalled the shoot of the movie as the shoot is happening at a set that has no permission. It was said that revenue officials had destroyed the sets of the film.
It is true that officials brought the set down which was erected at vacant open place that belongs to Telangana government. Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam makers took permission to build a set for their movie and finished the shoot. The makers of ‘Sye Raa’ too completed some portion in the same place without applying for required permissions from local authorities. Hence, the authorities brought down the sets. However, the film has not been stalled.
The shoot at these sets was completed in May itself and at present the movie is happening in a movie studio. The work on ‘Rangsthalam’ sets was long back completed. So, there is not truth that ‘Sye Raa’ shoot has come to standstill. It is actually progressing at brisk pace.
