Tamil Producers Council lays restrictions on Dhanush

The Tamil Film Producers Council has made the decision to temporarily suspend the start of any new film projects starting from August 16. The council has specifically called out Dhanush for failing to fulfill his obligations.

The topic of actors and technicians ‘abandoning’ existing projects after receiving advance money was discussed during the meeting. More precisely, Dhanush was summoned, and the council requested that producers consult them prior to using him in future projects.

Allegedly, Dhanush chose to forgo several Tamil films in order to prioritize signing Telugu films such as “Kubera” and “Sir” due to the substantial financial offers made by Telugu filmmakers.

Therefore, the council requested Tamil filmmakers to seek their approval prior to commencing any film using Dhanush.
