Taxiwaala breaches Rs 20 Cr mark

Yet another good hit for young star Vijay Deverakonda came in the form of ‘Taxiwaala’ this year. The film has already crossed Rs 20 Cr mark and is adding more money to its kitty. On Tuesday (November 27), it breached this mark.

The film’s success is even sweeter for Vijay Deverakonda and its makers as the film’s piracy print hit the torrents much before its theatrical release. And now it has crossed Rs 20 Cr (share) mark worldwide, making it one of the biggest hits among medium-range movies this year.

This is second hit for Vijay Deverakonda as solo hero this year after the mega blockbuster ‘Geetha Govindam’ that raked in Rs 70 Cr.
‘Taxiwaala’, which was produced by SKN, has good chances to rake in moolah further till this weekend.

At USA box-office, the film has collected $725k so far and is inching towards $800 mark.
