Tharun Bhascker announces Sequel to ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’

After making a mark with his debut film “Pelli Choopulu,” director Tharun Bhascker followed it up with “Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi.” Though the film received mixed reviews upon release, it gradually gained a cult following over the years.

Now, seven years later, Tharun Bhascker is ready to bring a sequel titled “ENE Repeat.” The original cast will reunite for the film. Vishwak Sen, Sai Sushanth Reddy, Abhinav Gomatam, and Venkatesh Kakumanu play main characters.

Produced by D. Suresh Babu, Srujan Yarabolu, and Sandeep Nagireddy under the banners of Suresh Productions and S Originals, “ENE Repeat” comes with a quirky tagline: “Elinaati Shani Ayyipoyindhi, Kanyaraasi Time Ochindi”, hinting at the protagonists possibly entering the next chapter of life — marriage.

Vivek Sagar returns as the music composer, while AJ Aaron will handle cinematography. Pre-production is already underway.
