Ustaad Bhagat Singh: Parthiban plays Nalla Nagappa

“Ustaad Bhagat Singh,” starring Pawan Kalyan in the title role, is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on March 26, 2026. With less than 40 days left, the makers have stepped up promotions and begun unveiling character looks from the film.

On Wednesday, the team introduced renowned Tamil actor-director R. Parthiban’s character. He will be seen as Nalla Nagappa in the film. The first-look poster presents him in a politician’s avatar, hinting at a powerful and possibly intense role in the story.

Sharing the poster, the makers wrote: “Presenting the sensational actor and the multi-talented legend @rparthiepan Garu as ‘NALLA NAGAPPA’ from Ustaad Bhagat Singh.”

Interestingly, director Harish Shankar had initially approached Telangana politician and educationist Malla Reddy for this role. However, he reportedly declined the offer, paving the way for Parthiban to come on board.

The film features Raashi Khanna and Sreeleela as the female leads and is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music, and the team is expected to unveil the second single soon as part of the promotional buildup.
