Varun Tej’s 14th is being directed by Karuna Kumar of Palasa fame. “Matka” is the name given to it. “Matka” is being produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala of Vyra Entertainments.
“Matka” was launched in Hyderabad today. The film’s motion poster was also unveiled. “Matka” refers to a type of gambling. The story, which takes place between 1958 and 1982, is based on a true incident.
Varun Tej will appear in four different getups as the story spans 24 years.
Varun Tej is paired with Meenakshi Chowdary. Nora Fatehi also plays an important role. Other notable actors include Naveen Chandra and Kannada Kishore.
