Acclaimed Tamil director Vetri Maaran last year made “Vidudala” (‘Viduthalai’ in Tamil), and the film won rave reviews in Telugu as well. The sequel, Vidudala Part 2, is now gearing up for release later this month. The Telugu version released its trailer today.
In the first part, Soori, who plays a police constable, captures the activist Perumaal Vaathiyaar, played by Vijay Sethupathi.
The trailer indicates that the sequel will pick up where the first part left off, with Vijay Sethupathi’s character serving as the central figure. The trailer depicts Vijay Sethupathi’s character marrying Manju Warrier’s character and him leading a rebellion.
The intense period crime thriller has maestro Ilaiyaraaja’s music. The Telugu release rights for this film have been acquired by producer Chintapalli Ramarao of Sri Vedaakshara Movies.
