Vijay Devarakonda bilingual film launched

Vijay Devarakonda is stepping into Kollywood. His new film, a bilingual being made in Tamil and Telugu languages, was launched this morning in Hyderabad. Studio Green Gnanavel Raja is producing this film in the direction of young talented Tamil director Anand Shankar.

Mehreen is the heroine. The first sequence was shot on Vijay Devarakonda and Mehreen.

“I had seen Arjun Reddy five times in movie theater. Bowled over by Vijay Devarakonda’s performance. He is an amazing actor.We will be beginning regular shoot from March 8,” producer Gnanavel Raja said.

Director Anand Shankar adds: “After directing Vikram in ‘Inkokkadu’, I was waiting for a good actor for my next film and then I saw ‘Arjun Reddy’. I narrated the story to Vijay and he liked it. He also promised me to master Tamil language and he will be dubbing dialogues on his own in Tamil.”
