Vijayashanti finally signs on the dotted line

The firebrand actress of 1980s and 1990s, Vijayashanti, needs no introduction. She sizzled the screen in super hits, be it as a temperamental cop or as a lovable girl opposite the likes of Megastar Chiranjeevi. The yesteryear actress has stayed away from movies for more than 17 years. She was rumoured to be making a comeback in a Chiur’s movie but it was nothing but a mere gossip.

The talented actress is finally making a comeback and that too with a big-ticket entertainer. She has officially given her nod to play a role in Mahesh Babu’s movie with director Anil Ravipudi.

The ‘F2’ director tried very hard to convince Vijayashanti, who finally agreed to essay the role, which is going to be a very key one in the movie.The makers are going to announce her character’s name in the movie in a special way soon. 

The untitled flick is set to go on the floors in June. Mahesh Babu is the lead hero. The film will also have another big star in a key role.
