Tamil superstar Vijay’s ‘Master’ was slated for April 10, 2020 release but the film has been postponed indefinitely due to coronavirus crisis. The film’s Telugu rights were snapped up by Mahesh Koneru.
When will this movie get released? Giving clarity on this, the film’s producer said they have finalized two options for the release – Deepavali 2020 or Sankranthi 2021. The release date will be finalized how the COVID19 situation subsides in India, he said.
The entire shooting process and editing have already been done, he stressed. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of ‘Khaidi’ fame, the Vijay starrer action thriller has Vijay Sethupathi as the villain. Malavika Mohanan is the heroine.
The producer also reiterated that the movie will only hit the cinema halls first. He ruled out the possibility of the direct digital release.
