Vishal’s much-anticipated 35th film has been titled Makutam. The makers unveiled a concept video announcing the title.
Helmed by Tamil director Ravi Arasu, Makutam is produced by RB Choudhary under the Super Good Films banner. The story hints at a sea backdrop, as suggested by the underwater visuals and an anchor featured in the video.
The video opens with stunning underwater visuals, where a scorpion rises from the depths of the ocean and crawls onto a massive ship. The scene then transitions to frenzied crowds gathered at the seashore, before culminating in a striking back pose of Vishal.
Dushara Vijayan plays the leading lady, while Anjali essays another key role. G.V. Prakash Kumar is composing the music.
