On Sunday, MAA president Manchu Vishnu accepted the resignation of 11 elected members belonging to Prakash Raj’s team. The eleven members won the elections held for MAA ((Movie Artistes’ Association) two months ago.
Alleging blackmailing and misuse of the election process, the eleven members tendered their resignations immediately after the results. Manchu Vishnu said he has tried to convince them all these days to stay back and work for the association. Since no response from them, he said he had accepted their resignations.
However, their membership will not be scrapped. Prakash Raj and Naga Babu even declared canceling their membership in MAA. But Vishnu said they would remain members.
Vishnu also mentioned that he would announce a committee shortly for the plan of constructing a building for the association.
