After a string of flops, Varun Tej is making a strong comeback with his fifteenth film, VT15, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. To reveal the film’s genre, the team released a quirky video featuring Varun Tej, comedian Satya, director Merlapaka Gandhi, and a Korean girl.
The video opens with Varun Tej sitting in the dark, prompting Satya to reassure him not to dwell on past failures. However, Varun humorously clarifies that the darkness is due to a power cut, not his mood. The scene takes an unexpected turn when a Korean girl appears, attempting to explain the film’s genre in Korean.
As the video progresses, an eerie atmosphere takes over, confirming that VT15 is an Indo-Korean horror-comedy. Varun Tej portrays the role of Korean Kanakaraju, while Ritika Nayak portrays the female lead.
Produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments, the film’s shoot has officially resumed, setting the stage for an intriguing cinematic experience. Thaman is composing the music.
