Weekend BO: RGG2 posts impressive numbers

Despite rains, ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2’ had performed on strong note at movie theaters in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the opening weekend. Early estimates suggest that the movie has collected Rs 12cr (share) in the first three days, which is an impressive number given the movie’s genre.
 
Nagarjuna is confident that the film would become one of the biggest hits in his career but we have to wait and see how it performs during the weekdays. But the film has another advantage – four days of holidays are coming during Deepavali weekend. So, ‘RGG 2’ has chances to score good collections if it sustains the momentum till the next weekend.

Starring Nagarjuna as mentalist and Samantha as ghost, ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2’ is a horror thriller with an emotional angle. The film’s final moments have touched upon a relevant social issue. Directed by Ohmkar, it is based on a Malayalam hit ‘Pretham’. However, the film has failed in America. ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2’ had low openings in USA. It grossed just about 280k dollars in its first weekend.
