Journalist turned producer Mahesh Koneru died of heart attack recently leaving his family members and friends in grief. His passing away also left many industry people in shock, as they lent big money to him.
Recovering the finances they had given to him for his film projects and other purposes is the issue they are grappling with. Various theories about the exact amount of finance he had borrowed are doing the rounds.
The fact is that affable and friendly Mahesh Koneru had big plans as a producer. He had launched “Sabhaku Namaskaram” with Allari Naresh. He also announced a film with Sandeep Kishan and another with Naga Shaurya (“Police Vaari Hecharika”).
Who will take over these projects and who would return the finances borrowed on these films? Industry folks say that he had taken money for these projects from financiers and other friends in the industry.
