Vakeel Saab, which marks the comeback for Pawan Kalyan after a gap of three years, is all set for release on April 9. Producer Dil Raju is trying to get permission for benefit shows. But will the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments agree to his request given the current spike in COVID-19 cases in both states?
Telangana government recently has permitted extra shows and hike in ticket rates. Currently, all major films are being screened for Rs 200 per ticket in multiplexes. But benefit shows require local police permission.
‘Vakeel Saab’ is the remake of the Bollywood movie ‘Pink’. Director Sriram Venu stated that he made a balancing act to pander to Pawan Kalyan’s fans as well as sticking to the core idea of ‘Pink’.
