Will NTR’s War 2 clash with Coolie or be postponed?

NTR is making his debut in Bollywood in an action drama, “War 2,” a sequel to the blockbuster “War,” being directed by Ayan Mukerji. While Hrithik Roshan is continuing to play the main lead hero, NTR is the new addition to the “War” franchise. The film had already announced August 14 as its release date long ago.

Producer Aditya Chopra plans movie release dates so far in advance. Despite “War 2” in the race, the makers of Rajinikanth’s “Coolie” have locked the same date for their release. Today, Sun Pictures announced August 14 as the release date for “Coolie.”

“Coolie” will also release globally in a big way, and it boasts big names like Nagarjuna, Upendra, and Shruti Haasan besides Rajinikanth. If “Coolie” and “War 2” clash at the box office, the films will lose crucial openings on the first day in many key markets.

We have to see what producer Aditya Chopra’s decision about the release date of “War 2” will be now. Whether he will postpone it or stick to it remains to be seen.
