Will Pooja Hegde be part of Ustaad?

Pooja Hegde isn’t as busy as she once was. In fact, she is struggling to land new Tollywood roles after losing many high-profile roles to rising star Sreeleela.

The question now is whether she will be a part of ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’. She was the first choice to play the main heroine in the film, but she was unable to sign due to numerous delays in production. Sreeleela was chosen as one of the heroines.

‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’, on the other hand, is a two-heroine film. It is based on the Tamil superhit Theri, in which Amy Jackson and Samantha starred opposite Vijay. However, director Harish Shankar claims he is not remaking the film in its current form and has drastically changed the script to look fresh and trendy with the times.

Even so, our sources say the story has place for two heroines. So, will Pooja Hegde play the other heroine’s role? The film’s second shooting schedule will begin soon.

Pooja Hegde is currently starring in the film ‘Guntur Kaaram’ alongside Mahesh Babu. She has yet to sign a new Telugu film, but she is working on a couple of Bollywood projects.
