Will Ruler recover Rs 22 crore in Telugu states?

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Ruler’ has done about Rs 21 crore pre-release business in Telugu states. The movie needs to collect Rs 22 crore to enter into the profitable zone. After NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu bombed at the box-office, the trade is not so enthusiastic to place high money on ‘Ruler’. This is why the film has done a very low pre-release business. Plus, this movie is releasing a non-holiday period.

Now comes the question: will Balayya’s movie recover this investment? Because the film is competing with other movies like ‘Prati Roju Pandage’, ‘Dabaang 3’ (dub) and Karthi’s ‘Donga’.

‘Ruler’ is directed by KS Ravikumar whose previous collaboration with Balakrishna ‘Jai Simha’ was a success. The action drama also stars Bhumika and Prakash Raj in key roles and Vedhika and Sonal Chauhan play the female lead. ‘Ruler’ is releasing this Friday.
