Yesteryear's top actress as Balakrishna's Rajamatha?

The casting process for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th movie is under way as the director Krish is talking with several actors to rope them in to play the important roles in the movie. While Nandamuri Balakrishna will essay the role of Satakarni, the king, the movie also has importance for mother’s role. In the Satavahana empire, matriarchy was the norm. So the role of Rajamatha called Gauthami is crucial to the story.

According to the buzz, yesteryear’s actresses like Hemamalini and Sobhana are being considered for this role.  Who will be finalized?

For the female lead, discussions with Nayanatara are going on. If she doesn’t adjust her dates for this film, Krish might opt for other heroine.

The film will commence its shoot from April 22nd in Hyderabad.
