Varun Tej is probably the only young mega hero who is trying out different stuff in Telugu cinema. He is not shying away to do films that are different and do not have much commercial angle. He is mixing it quite nicely and has planned his career quite well in the last year or so.
Varun started 2019 with a bang as his multi-starrer with Venkatesh ‘F2’ was a crazy hit at the box office. This penetrated him into the masses and family audience. Just when everyone thought that he would do a romantic drama or masala film, he chose a mass drama in the form of ‘Valmiki aka Gaddhalakonda Ganesh’. Many trolled him for doing a remake but his transformation and mannerisms made the film work at the box office.
He will be seen in a boxing drama in 2020 and has hopes to do a multi-starrer with one of his mega family members. One can say that 2019 was quite solid for him.
