Ajay Devgn joins RRR shoot

Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn who has just scored a massive hit with his period drama ‘Tanhaji’ received a grand welcome from the team of ‘RRR’. He is playing a crucial role in this epic patriotic drama directed by SS Rajamouli. Set in the pre-Independence period, ‘RRR’ has NTR essaying the young Komaram Bheem and Ram Charan the young Alluri Seetharama Raju.

Rajamouli has written a fictional story of these two freedom warriors – Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju meeting in a certain place and learning a lot from each other before they embark on their revolutionary journeys in Adilabad and Godavari agency areas respectively. Ajay Devgn’s is also a fictional role. He is said to be playing a guru-like figure to NTR and Ram Charan’s characters.

Soon Alia Bhatt would also be joining the movie’s shoot. She plays Ram Charan’s female Jodi.
