Anjali’s ‘Bahishkarana’ will premiere on ZEE5

“Bahishkarana,” directed by Mukesh Prajapathi and produced by Prashanti Malisetti, stars Anjali as the main actor. Ravindra Vijay, Ananya Nagalla, Shritej, Shanmukh, Mahboob Basha, and Chaitanya Sagiraju are also part of the cast. The series is scheduled to air on ZEE5.

Set in 1990s rural Guntur, ‘Bahishkarana’ is a story of transformation and destiny that follows a prostitute on her profound journey to find ultimate bliss.

Prashanti Malisetti of Pixel Pictures Pvt Ltd stated, “Collaborating with Zee on Bahishkarana has been an extraordinary journey, embodying the belief that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” Director Mukesh Prajapathi stated that “Bahishkarana” is a deeply rooted story with a powerful plot and complex characters.

Anjali said, “Playing Pushpa in Bahishkarana has been a tremendously rewarding experience for me. The character’s transformation from a naive courtesan to a lady who discovers fortitude and courage despite all difficulties is both challenging and uplifting.”
