AOAO, Pitta Katha and Palasa competing this weekend

The month of March is generally considered not conducive to box-office prospects. Hence, big films push their releases to April and May. Starting this Friday, we are going to witness a flurry of small movies hitting the screens.

This Friday, we will see Balu Adusumilli’s ‘Anukunnadhi Okati Ayindhi Okati’ that has four beautiful young actresses – Dhanya Balakrishna, Siddhi Idnani, Tridha Choudhury and Komalee Prasad in the lead roles. This is a film with a hint of sex and murder mystery. All four women have played bold roles.

On the other hand, ‘O Pitta Katha’, the debut movie of Brahmaji’s son Sanjay Rao is also hitting the screens on March 6. This is said to be a kidnap drama with romantic elements. The film has successfully generated great buzz thanks to Brahmaji’s relentless publicity and top stars like Prabhas and Megastar Chiranjeevi promoting it.

‘Palasa 1978’ is also hitting the screens this Friday along with these two releases. The film is a period drama with gritty narration.
