Boyapati Sreenu’s movies are rich in terms of visuals. Although there are no elaborate sets, he makes the producer spend a bomb on action sequences, etc. The cinematography of his movies is also lavish at times.
As a director who never compromises on visuals and grandeur, he is finding it hard to get big monies spent on his next movie with Nandamuri Balakrishna. Even after the failure of ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’, the director is not thinking twice about rich visuals.
But since Balayya’s movies don’t recover their costs if made at a high budget (as proved by the ‘NTR’ biopic movies), Boyapati can’t expect the producer to spend money like water. Therefore, he has decided not to charge any remuneration until he wraps up the entire movie. He has slashed his paycheck accordingly.
The film will be produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy who earlier made ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ with Boyapati’. The film will be launched next month. This is the third combination of Balakrishna and Boyapati after the blockbusters ‘Simha’ and ‘Legend’.
