Megastar Chiranjeevi has once again approached the cybercrime police, alleging that objectionable and defamatory posts are being circulated against him on social media.
The megastar filed a formal complaint, providing details of an account involved in spreading such content.
Following his complaint, the police have registered a case and begun an investigation.
Earlier, Chiranjeevi had moved City Civil Court in Hyderabad, objecting to the unauthorized use of his name, photo, and voice for commercial purposes. The court issued an interim injunction, prohibiting any individual or organization from using his identity without permission.
It further warned that strict legal action would be taken against those misusing Chiranjeevi’s name for publicity, TRPs, or profit motives.
