Rajinikanth’s “Coolie,” which hit theaters on August 14, 2025, is heading to OTT sooner than expected. As reported earlier, Prime Video, which acquired the streaming rights, planned to bring the film online within four weeks of its theatrical debut. Now, the platform has officially confirmed the premiere.
“Coolie” will stream worldwide on Prime Video from September 11, reaching audiences across more than 240 territories.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film features a stellar ensemble cast including Nagarjuna, Soubin, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Aamir Khan, Rachitha Ram, and Pooja Hegde.
Though “Coolie” grossed over ₹500 crore globally, it struggled in Tamil Nadu and posted losses in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film also underperformed in several domestic markets but fared exceptionally well in the USA and other overseas regions.
