Corona: 'Bichagadu' actor reduces remuneration

Vijay Antony, the Tamil actor who also became quite popular in Telugu states with the massive success of his film ‘Bichagadu’, is the first star in India to announce a cut in the remuneration due to prevailing conditions. He voluntarily announced this decision to help the producers.

The movie industry has suffered huge losses with the lockdown. It is expected this entire year will witness losses or loss of work in the Indian movie industry. So, to ease the burden on his producers, the actor said he would reduce remuneration for his next three movies.
