Day 1: Saaho Hindi posts a huge number

Prabhas starrer ‘Saaho’ received unanimous bad reviews, all critics slammed the film. The criticism from Bollywood critics was even harsher. Still, the collections are huge. Prabhas’s popularity in North India has helped the film to rake in nearly Rs 25 Cr nett for its Hindi version on the first day.

Even though the film could not reach the many theaters in North India due to technical glitches, it has posted such a huge number. This is the third biggest opening this year among Bollywood movies.

The film’s opening is also the second-best for a South movie after ‘Baahubali 2’. Last year, the Hindi version of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer Shankar’s ‘2.0’ earned Rs 20.25 crore on its opening day. Opening day collection of ‘Saaho’ proves that Prabhas has immense popularity all over India. But sadly, he chose a bad script and an incapable director for this outing.
