Chiranjeevi’s ‘Sye Raa’ set new records in many areas in Andhra Pradesh proving that he still is the megastar. His stardom is intact despite new-age superstars are ruling the roost. The period patriotic drama also stood at all-time second and third positions in other areas. In Telangana, the film has raked in whopping Rs 8.10 Cr, setting a record as all-time third highest day one grosser after ‘Baahubali 2’ (8.90 Cr) and ‘Saaho’ (9.40 Cr).
In Nellore and Uttarandhra, the film became an all-time highest grosser on the first day. Overall, the film has received a whopping Rs 38 Cr from the Telugu states on the first day.
