Marking his return to Telugu screens, Dhanush’s upcoming film “Kara” has officially fixed April 30, 2026, as its Telugu theatrical release date.
Directed by Vignesh Raja, the film will be released in Telugu by CH Sathish Kumar and Rajesh Kumar Bobbara under Vigneswara Entertainments and R Star Logistics, ensuring a wide release across the Telugu states.
Dhanush, who enjoys a solid fan base among Telugu audiences, has previously delivered successful films like Raghuvaran B.Tech, Asuran, and Sir. With “Kara,” he returns with a film that is already generating strong curiosity.
The buzz has been further boosted by the Telugu version of the song “Kannamma Naa Kannamma,” which has crossed 4.1 million views on YouTube, striking an emotional chord with audiences. It stars Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, alongside a notable supporting cast including Jayaram, K. S. Ravikumar, Karunas, and M. S. Bhaskar.
On the technical front, the film features cinematography by Theni Eswar, editing by Sreejith Sarang, and music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, whose previous works have been well received by Telugu audiences.
