‘Dhurandhar’ to stream on Netflix tomorrow

Bollywood film “Dhurandhar” has created havoc at the box office and the much-awaited uncut version of the film is all set to premiere on Netflix tomorrow (January 30).

Starring Ranveer Singh in a powerhouse role, the film also features an imposing ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan. “Dhurandhar”released in theatres on December 5, 2025, and went on to become a phenomenon.

Why Dhurandhar Became a Historic Blockbuster

The film’s success can be attributed to multiple factors. Aditya Dhar’s gripping direction, backed by a sharp, politically charged narrative and high-octane action, struck a strong chord with audiences. Ranveer Singh’s intense transformation and commanding screen presence were widely hailed as one of the finest performances of his career. The film’s realistic action choreography, strong dialogues, and a tightly woven screenplay ensured massive repeat value.

Word of mouth played a crucial role, turning “Dhurandhar” into a true pan-Indian theatrical experience. The film resonated equally with mass audiences and multiplex viewers, helping it emerge as the number one Hindi film in India.

At the box office, “Dhurandhar” delivered staggering numbers, nearly Rs 900 crore net in India alone, making it the highest-grossing Hindi film domestically. Overseas, it posted equally impressive figures, grossing $20.5 million in North America, while its worldwide total crossed Rs 1,300 crore.

What to Expect from the Uncut Version

The Netflix release will feature an uncut edition, promising a more raw and intense viewing experience. With additional action blocks and extended sequences, the OTT version has been certified U/A 16+, much to the excitement of fans who want to experience the film in its most uncompromised form.

Adding to the buzz, the makers have already announced Dhurandhar 2, which is slated for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026, further expanding the franchise.
