Dil Raju gets cornered in theater shutdown call

Dil Raju has been dragged into the controversy surrounding the call for a shutdown of theaters from June 1st. With Andhra Pradesh Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh asking officials to probe the issue and identify who initiated the demand for the shutdown, fingers pointed towards “Aa Naluguru” in general, and Dil Raju and Suresh Babu in particular.

Dil Raju, being the top distributor in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, received criticism on social media.

However, Dil Raju clarified that he is not behind the call for a theater shutdown. The accusations were wrongly directed at him, he claimed.

Overall, the exhibitors have now decided not to pursue a theater strike from June 1st. Hari Hara Veera Mallu will arrive in theaters as announced on June 12, 2025.
