‘Family Star’ team scarps Bangkok plans

The team behind “Family Star,” starring Vijay Deverakonda, was to begin its new shooting schedule in Bangkok this week. But director Parasuram Petla changed his mind at the last minute and scrapped the entire Bangkok plan.

As we informed our readers earlier, the story of “Family Star” is partly set in the USA. As a result, the production crew chose Bangkok as an alternate destination. They believed they could manipulate the cityscape of Bangkock to make the audience believe it was in the United States.

But for some reason, Parasuram Petla has dropped the idea. He is now looking for some more options. Meanwhile, the shooting of the film is currently progressing in Hyederabad.

‘Family Star’ stars Mrunal Thakur opposite Vijay Deverakonda. Produced by the SVC of Dil Raju, the film’s first song, composed by Gopi Sundar, will come out soon.
