Hombale Films, the Bengaluru-based production house behind some of India’s biggest pan-Indian blockbusters like “KGF,” “Kantara,” and “Salaar,” has now ventured into overseas distribution.
Its first international distribution venture is Ram Charan’s “Peddi.”
Hombale Films has acquired the overseas rights for the film and is releasing it in association with established distribution firms across North America and other international territories. The film has already grossed nearly a quarter million dollars through advance sales in North America.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, “Peddi” has generated strong buzz for its rustic, action-packed backdrop, striking visuals, and Ram Charan’s intense makeover. The film’s music is composed by Oscar-winning musician A. R. Rahman.
“Peddi” is slated for a grand worldwide theatrical release on June 4.
