Is Kriti Sanon losing out on big-ticket films?

Kriti Sanon was once enjoying the best phase of her career in Bollywood, even bagging a National Award for her performance in “Mimi.” But things have slowed down after a series of flops such as Adipurush, Ganapath, and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.

With offers drying up, Kriti has been making strong statements about the industry.

She recently alleged that Bollywood filmmakers treat female stars as “secondary citizens” compared to male actors, sparking debates. Industry insiders note that such bold remarks usually come from actresses who are no longer in the top league or getting steady work.

At present, her only notable project is “Tere Ishk Mein,” opposite Dhanush. Beyond that, she doesn’t have any big-ticket Bollywood films in hand. That explains the risky statements from her.
