If there is one big Pan-Indian film that every movie lover in India is eagerly waiting for, it ought to be Kannada movie ‘KGF 2’, the sequel to blockbuster ‘KGF’. This Yash starrer is slated to release worldwide on October 23. However, given the current state of things due to coronavirus outbreak, the big-budgeted film may not meet the deadline. The movie’s shoot has been stalled since March.
Meanwhile, for the past few weeks, there have been rumors that the makers may skip the theatrical release of the film as a streaming company offered the producers a staggering amount for direct digital release.
However, a leading Bollywood website reported that the makers stressed that the “film will release in theatres first, no matter how long it takes.”
As per the current scenario, ‘KGF 2’, being directed by Prashanth Neel, will hit the screens next year.
